Keith Fraser - Chair of The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity
- A senior police officer with over 27 years experience
- Operating at a strategic level with respect to change management and strategic direction.
- Managed large areas of business, employing hundreds of staff, with multimillion pound budget.
- Various media training.
- Vetted to government set standards.
- Passionate about voluntary work and working in partnership.
- Served in the first and second largest police forces in the country.
- Ability to development partnerships.
- Degree Business Studies (Human Resource Management)
- Has project managed the formation of a London wide department
- experience working in public sector with local authorities , voluntary sector and private sector
Cathy Bayliss - Trustee & Secretary
- Cathy works for the NHS in a Emergency Department nursing
- Cathy worked at Salford University as course coordinator for three degree’s and was student support for all three departments, working specifically with disabled students and students with dyslexia.
- Her work with Salford University gave her invaluable experience and honed her administration and organisational skills; coordinating campus prospective student and parent days for 6 years
- Cathy worked voluntarily with Bury Youth Offending Team for seven years and sat on the Referral Order Panel, attending meetings with, offenders, parents, police, court officials, magistrates and social services agencies on a regular basis.
- Her valuable organisational and administration experience, coupled with her work with diverse communities and now working in a University Hospital whose children’s department is at the forefront of research, will be an asset, as the secretary of the charity.
- Cathy has already organised for the charity, the successful ‘MusicNight4Josh’ at Bury Met Theatre.
Naomi Turner - Trustee & Treasurer
- Presently works for Specsavers as an ophthalmic clinical dispenser.
- Naomi has gained a G.N.V.Q level 2, advanced, N.V.Q level 2 in health and social care & a N.V.Q level 2 in business and catering.
- Naomi has spent time as a volunteer caring for young disabled adults in a care setting also taking these young adults on holiday, which has given her invaluable experience as to the needs and requirements towards people and families of those with special needs.
- Naomi has also spent two years working as an administrator and payroll clerk over seeing the daily administrative requirements and salaries of a small engineering company.
Ben Kirkham - Trustee
- Works for Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service in the Children and Young People Department
- Overall co-ordination of any fire service activity with young people across Oldham, Bury and Rochdale.
- Ben has worked in different roles within the CYP department at GMFRS and worked with a variety of different young people.
- Ben has a real passion for working in this field and gives up a lot of his spare time volunteering.
Tony Kenny - Trustee
- Tony runs numerous business based in Huddersfield employing 50 staff, ranging from publishing, web design, mobile communications, IT consultancy and Recruitment
- He has been commercial director for The Irish Rugby League national side running upto and during the RL World Cup in Australia in 2008 , generating £160,000 of sponsorship dealing with international companies negotiating packages and liaising with them during the tournament.
- Tony organises many corporate & charity events and dinners and takes great pride in helping others.
- Through organising these events he has met a number of influential people both in the entertainment and business world and can use his social skills to bring these people on board to help the charity
- HND Business and Finance and a member of the chartered institute of book keepers, BA Business & Finance
Ian is a senior managing director for a multi-billion dollar corporation operating within the Fire and Security Industry.
- With a proven record of achieving successful, working environments by driving growth, and improving efficiency.
- In - depth Sales and Operational experience, with an ability to analyse and process information in order to make informed, timely decisions, to achieve strategic objectives.
- Strong financial acumen, consistently delivering to budgeted expectations.
- Experienced in company acquisitions.
- Change Management Practitioner.
- Ian holds a number of qualifications, most recent is a Masters Degree in Business.
