We Smashed It! – 36 miles in the toughest weather conditions yet!
We are so SUPER proud of all our walkers and all those that supported on the day, as you can imagine there was a lot of ‘behind the scenes’ work to make the walk a success – thank you so much for taking part, you are all AMAZING!
We must make a special mention of all our generous sponsors; we couldn’t have done this without you:

Last Saturday (27th April) we once again donned our trainers and walking boots to take on the epic challenge of walking 36 miles from Blackpool to Bury! Who would have guessed the weather would have been so bad!?
The huge challenge made even more epic by the weather! saw us leave Blackpool at 7am on a route through Preston, Belmont and Bolton before we finally crawled back into Bury, very wet, very tired but very happy!
This was the third year of doing this amazing challenge which last year raised over £21,750 to support our very special families living with brain tumours & disabilities with financial & emotional help. (the total for this year’s walk is currently being totted up, you can still donate on our website www.joshwilson.org.uk)
The walk was super tough, and there were lots of blisters, swollen ankles and sore feet at the end – but it always achieves so much for Josh’s Charity and our families, plus helps us raise so much awareness.
The pictures show that the walkers kept on smiling even though the weather was against them!
