“The SuperJosh Charity means a lot to me, I met Josh back around 2011 when my company Harvey’s Taxis transported Josh to school in one of our adapted minibuses for children with special needs. I began my involvement when the Charity was first set up, once I knew more about the difficulties that families go through and have supported the charity passionately from a personal point ever since! It is an overwhelming honour to have been asked by Dawn to be a Trustee and I hope that I can add value to what is already a fantastic board of Trustees. The SuperJosh team and family work tirelessly to raise money, awareness and do amazing things for many families.”
Ray’s varied background has taken him on a few different career paths from being in the Army to working in the construction industry in Germany. Ray then went on to open his own taxi company; Harveys Transport (which is how he met Josh). Most recently, Ray launched a new fostering agency; Fostering Changes Life.
In 2004 Ray became a foster carer opening his family home to children when they most need it. Over the past 10-years his time has been of service to young people across the North West being a director of local Bury company, Fusion Care, where he supports children and young people.
