Starbucks Ramsbottom Makes #SuperJosh Their Charity Of The Year
We are very pleased to announce that Starbucks in Ramsbottom have very generously chosen us as their ‘Charity of the Year’.
This means the lovely team at Starbucks will be raising awareness and fundraising all year for our Charity.
Hannah Turner, Store Manager said: “When I was encouraged by Eurogarages, who operate the new Starbucks site, to choose a charity to work alongside I couldn’t think of anyone more deserving than The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity.
I had often noticed what a big part the charity plays in the local community. This was further highlighted recently when I waited at the finish line for my sister in law, Nicola Linaker, to complete a 38 mile walk from Blackpool to Bury in aid of Super Josh. Seeing so many walkers battling to the finish was very inspiring.
Our Mission Statement here at Starbucks is ‘to inspire and nurture the human spirit—one person, one cup, and one neighbourhood at a time’ and I believe that Josh was an incredibly inspirational young man and we couldn’t be prouder to work alongside the amazing SuperJosh team.”
We couldn’t be more grateful for this amazing gift. Not only will this partnership raise vital funds for our charity and thus benefit local families suffering with childhood brain tumours, but it will also raise awareness of this often ‘unseen’ condition.
We have to say a HUGE thank-you to all the team at Starbuck’s Ramsbottom.
When you visit Starbuck’s Ramsbottom, look out for our charity tins and buckets.
