Complete Driveway Designs – From Bilbao to Benidorm all in aid of SuperJosh
Last month the fabulous guys at, Complete Driveway Designs, Tim and Wayne, cycled a whopping 950km (590 miles!) from Bilbao to Benidorm (pretty much the length of Spain!) raising a massive £2422.50 in the process.
These fund-raising heroes did this amazing bike ride in aid of The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity. So that we can help more children and their families who have brain tumours and post-surgery disabilities.
The speedy cyclists beat their 12-day target and finished the ride in just 5 days which works out at approximately 190km/ 118miles a day!
Not only did they complete this bike ride but back in April 2018 they took part in the 36-mile Blackpool to Bury walk organised by SuperJosh, this was a fantastic event arranged by the charity to help raise more vital funds.
We are so proud they chose our charity to support and are truly overwhelmed by their achievement, a big thank you to everyone that sponsored their ride and gave them support along the way.
Tim and Wayne had this to say about their amazing efforts:
“The bike ride is something we have always wanted to complete as a personal challenge for ourselves, we first started talking about doing it around four years ago but due to work commitments it was something we never got around to.
This year we decided it was the year, after completing the SuperJosh Blackpool to bury walk in April we wanted to continue the support towards this charity, so the bike ride was not only a personal challenge but also, we were doing it to raise much needed money for all of the families in which the SuperJosh charity support.
The ride itself was so so rewarding as we managed to complete it 5 days ahead of our original target but there were days, we never thought we’d get back on the bikes again. The mountains, the wind, the torrential rain all decided to join us along the way, but we had a focus and we did it!!!
We would like to say a massive thank you to all sponsors, support and donations, they were what helped us through the gruelling days and of course the fantastic charity that we were doing it for.”
From all our families we say a huge thank-you to Tim and Wayne.
These vital funds go to support families in many different ways find out more here.
