Awarded MBE for Voluntary Service at Ceremony in Manchester
The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity received The Queens Award for Voluntary Service (MBE) from one of the Queen’s Lord Lieutenants at a ceremony in Manchester in late August.
The day had been much anticipated since the official announcement of the prestigious award back in June.
This eminent award recognises excellence in volunteer activities carried out by community groups and is the MBE for volunteer groups.
Receiving the award was founder of the charity and mum to Josh, Dawn Fidler. She was joined by some of the charity’s supporters and volunteers, there are many who have taken this charity to their hearts, supporting the excellent work it carries out in order to help special families in need.
