2016 fundraising off to a great start thanks to Insight Manchester
On Friday it was fantastic to share the afternoon celebrating with the team at Insight Manchester and recognising their achievements throughout 2015. Not only did they raise over £6,000 for Josh’s Charity, but they’ve chosen to support us again in 2016 and have kicked off their fundraising by donating this £2,000 cheque.
The money they raised during 2015 has helped us pay for Hospital Expenses Grants for families, a Teenage Entertainment Hospital Package for the Young Oncology Unit at Christie’s Hospital and to fund a family’s living costs during their travel to America for their child’s proton therapy treatment. Such amazing support helps us give direct help to so many exactly when they need it.

We are busy getting ready to donate more Hospital Entertainment Packages across the country kicking off our help in this way in 2016. Next week we are in Leicester taking a package to the Children’s Hospital Ward thanks to donations raised by Clubbercise Hinkley & Nuneaton. It’s important to be able to help fill this gap that the NHS simply can’t fund, play &and family time are such a vital part of healing.
While we are always looking for new ways to raise funds, we also love to hear from anyone that would like to volunteer at events and become one of Josh’s Thumbraisers. Please do get in touch, just send us an email at [email protected]
