The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity was launched in August to celebrate Josh’s 13th Birthday and to start to give help & hope to children with brain tumours & post surgery disabilities.
Josh was diagnosed when he was 3 and a half with a brain stem tumour & following brain surgery was left with complex neuromuscular disabilities.
Over the years the public have generously helped fundraise to help pay for special equipment & house adaptations that can’t be provided by DLA funding due to restrictions as Josh has two homes living with his Mum Dawn & Dad Colin half the week each.
Following the completion of £28,000 major house adaptation work in the summer, Josh’s family launched his Charity to start to help other children & families in a similar position.
To kick start fundraising Josh launched his #Challenge13 at the start of August to raise £13,000 so he can start to help other children with brain tumours & post surgery disabilities.
Josh aka #SuperJosh is very proud to announce that with the amazing help, generosity & support from friends, family, local businesses and the public, he’s smashed his target and has raised a staggering £13,450!!!
